Second-Hand Exposure

Some of our clients are people who were not exposed to asbestos in the workplace, but have still developed mesothelioma. Often times, these clients were victims of second-hand exposure. In many cases, someone they lived with brought asbestos home with them on their clothes from their job. The fibers then were released into the air and were inhaled. This is not as common as occupational exposure, but it still can occur.
